WOYWW 376 Seth Apter’s in the house!

Well, his new stamps are anyway!! :-)

Happy post yesterday when these popped through the door thanks to That’s Crafty:

Set 1 and Set 2 links

So I had a quick play last night with distress inks and a little bit of Snowflake frescos and some embossing on the yellow/orange one – I’ve put the pads in the photos so you can see what I used.

P1040306

I might go back and add some extra stamping on the green one….you can never use too many background stamps – right?

I can see these sets staying on my desk for a long time – so many uses for them!

Also since the last WOYWW, I’ve done a couple of journal pages:

P1040313

This one’s distress inks with JoFY 14 and JoFY 12 stamps and clear embossing through That’s Crafty mini dragonfly stencil, plus words from Wendy Vecchi SCS124 stamp set

Last page was using one of my new Trish Latimer girls – love these stamps!

P1040314

I did this in my scrap journal where I wipe off left over paint from baby-wipe painting. The background was created mainly with stamps from the new JoFY and Kim Dellow stamp sets plus the big flower spray from JoFY 32. The lovely girl is from Trish Latimer’s Etsy shop

So that’s my WOYWW contribution for this week……check out Julia’s blog for links to other WOYWWers if you want to have a nosy at some great artwork and work-desks!

Happy Creating

Love your journal pages. Not as weird as mine with the swapped about body parts. No wonder Chloe thought them weird.
I absolutely love the bold work at the top – Seth Apter is a favourite of yours then? I had the luck to do a workshop with him at CHA in January, what a lovely man. Gave away what I did to a friend who is a big fan of Seth and now wish I had it, but I have a photo and have a workshop booked next month with him. Hooray!

Oh great to see the pads in the photos but shame I couldn’t make the photos bigger to have a good shufty. Love your journal pages especially the pink one. I think I found getting to grips with my phone not too bad as I have been using a mini tablet for a couple of years. I got that shortly after my laptop died so I didn’t have to fight my hubby for the main PC all the time. Bet there is still a lot to learn though. As for the Diving our lad got silver in the men’s 3m springboard. Thanks for visiting me BJ#24

Seth is AWESOME to have in the house… I have his stamping sets “Solar system” (my fave!) and “Line ups” and I use them quite often… your card look awesome! Enjoy playing, and thanks for stopping by my blog earlier. Happy, belated, woyww and a hug from Holland. Marit #22
